Wolverine created today’s Feature Friday tables. Wolverine is a company located in Ferndale Michigan, and their specialty is custom pool tables handcrafted in the USA.  Wolverine has been making pool tables since 1968 and along with their standard line of pool tables, they also make customer specified tables.  Wolverine builds tables with a 3-piece 1″ slate system for greater stability and protection against warping.  Other handcrafted furniture includes billiards accessory pieces and furniture and custom cabinetry for the kitchen, bar, game room or any other room you want cabinets.
The above table is called the Saturn SE, which is a long lasting family pool table.  It has very sturdy pedestal legs and comes in a couple of lengths.  The cabinetry is wrapped in tough veneer with multiple finishes for that custom look.  And this owner has decided to take advantage of the room shape to angle the table so that players can have an unhindered shot from anywhere around the table.

This table is a custom Wolverine table created for a valued customer.  The length comes in at eight feet and is covered in a beautiful combination of black felt dark wood rail and stainless steel.  With large open windows letting an abundance of natural light in, this table is has a satisfactory experience.

Wolverine started as a company because they saw a need for home use pool tables that wouldn’t empty your pocketbook, but still hold a standard that is seen in professional grade pool tables.  Since they have been around since the late 60′s, I believe they have achieved the integrity they were striving for.
